While studying biochemistry in college with the goal of becoming a Forensic Pathologist, Laura Ashley realized she didn’t want to care for the dead, but instead wanted to create a better life for the living. She shifted her focus, earning a Chemistry degree, and developed a passion for holistic approaches to health over traditional pharmaceuticals.
After graduation, Laura combined her creativity and love for teaching by tutoring science and giving piano lessons. Around this time, she and her friends began their natural hair journeys, only to discover that many so-called “all natural” products on the market contained harmful ingredients she recognized from her studies. Tapping into her lab experience, Laura began formulating her own truly natural products—first for herself and her friends, and ultimately for a growing community.
This journey led her to found LaiAshley, a holistic brand offering 100% natural, vegan hair and skin care products designed to heal, protect, and restore. Today, she is expanding her vision by launching a beauty beverage line, bridging inner wellness with outer beauty and continuing her mission to empower others through clean, science-driven solutions.
